Turkish Airlines services Benin

1019

According to eTurboNews, Turkish Airlines’ African network now covers 39 destinations, with the addition of Cotonou (Benin).

Round trip flights between Istanbul and Cotonou are operated four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays in both directions.

Introductory round trip fares start at $570 (including taxes and fees), and for the first six months Miles&Smiles members need 25% fewer miles to redeem either award tickets or upgrades.

Cotonou is Benin’s largest city as well as being its financial and transportation hub. The airport at Cotonou is Benin’s only international gateway – located 39 kilometres from Porto Novo, the nation’s capital. The Cotonou city centre, 15 kilometres from the airport and located in the south-eastern part of the country, is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Nokoué.
