According to Aviation Tribune, Precision Air launched direct flights from Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) to Kigoma and Bukoba last week. The airline has been serving these two destinations via Mwanza, but has changed its flight plan to better accommodate passenger requests.
Kigoma, in the west of Tanzania, will receive three flights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, while Bukoba, in the north–west, will be served four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
At the same time, the airline has temporarily suspended flights to Hahaya in a bid to optimise resources. The route will supposedly resume as soon as conditions allow. Passengers will be rebooked on partner airlines where regulations allow, and refunded where rebooking isn’t possible.
