802

As winter sets in for the northern hemisphere, Lufthansa is extending its route network to new holiday destinations in warmer regions.

As of 2 October, Lufthansa started flying from Frankfurt (Germany) to the Moroccan city of Marrakesh. This cultural city is situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains in the Moroccan interior and can be reached in just under four hours with an Airbus A320 every Thursday and Sunday.

The Frankfurt-Luanda connection to the capital of Angola will be strengthened by a third weekly flight.

Sister airline Brussels Airlines, based in Belgium, is boosting its capacity with additional flights from Brussels to Marrakesh, and is improving connections to Douala and Yaoundé (Cameroon), Nairobi (Kenya), Kigali (Rwanda), Bujumbura (Burundi) and Luanda (Angola).
