Turkish Airlines eyes Juba

1505

According to eTurboNews, Turkish Airlines has restated its intent to add Juba (South Sudan) to its growing list of African destinations, although no firm startup date has been communicated.

South Sudan presently has few international airline connections, apart from Kenya Airways, RwandAir, Flydubai, Egypt Air and Ethiopian Airlines. A global carrier would provide a boost to economic and tourism development when peace returns to Africa’s youngest nation.

Turkish Airlines presently serves 40 destinations in Africa, with the most recent addition being Abuja (Nigeria).
