Accor is opening new frontiers in Ethiopia, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During the Africa Hotel Investment Forum, held in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Accor reaffirmed its commitment to development in Africa.
This year Accor has signed 11 new contracts in Africa. Morocco will soon be home to a Sofitel in Tamuda Bay, a Novotel in Mohammedia, two Mercures – in Nador and Al Hoceima – an ibis, and one unbranded hotel in Al Hoceima. Ethiopia is scheduled to get a Pullmans in Addis Ababa, as is Kinshasa (DRC) and Nairobi (Kenya). A third Mercure is going up in Algiers (Algeria), and a second ibis in N’Djamena (Chad).
These 11 new contracts represent 1,700 new rooms across the continent.
