Nigerian airline Arik Air has released its new schedule, showing increased capacity on key domestic routes, to meet passenger demand and give travellers more options for same day return trips.

The schedule increases the frequency of flights in Nigeria on the Lagos-Calabar, Lagos-Enugu, Lagos-Benin City, Abuja-Benin City, Lagos-Kano, Abuja-Kano, Abuja-Asaba and Abuja-Ibadan routes.

The frequency to Calabar and Enugu has been increased from daily to double daily, while the Lagos-Benin City schedule has been increased from 14 weekly flights to 20 weekly flights – three times daily and twice on Saturdays.

Similarly, the Abuja-Benin City frequency has been increased from daily to 13 weekly flights – twice daily except for Saturdays. Abuja-Ibadan, Abuja-Kano, Abuja-Asaba and Lagos-Kano services now operate daily.

With the new winter schedule, the days of operation for the Lagos-Luanda (Angola) service have now been changed to Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This flight was hitherto operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
