According to eTurboNews, Tanzania’s Auric Air will add two domestic destinations to its route network this month: Kahama and Shinyanga.
Shinyanga is the headquarter town of the region going by the same name in northern Tanzania, while Kahama is the home of the district headquarters of the same name in the north-west of the country. Flights to the two destinations, which are about 110 kilometres apart, are expected to be combined and operate out of Mwanza.
Both new destinations will likely be served through the Bulyanhulu airstrip outside the town. The area is a major centre for mining activities.
Auric flies to 30 destinations across Tanzania with its fleet of 10 Cessna C208B Grand Caravan aircraft.
