Africa World Airlines, a Ghanaian-registered private-sector airline, is introducing a morning flight from Accra to Ghana’s northern regional capital Tamale, beginning 19 August, in response to market demands.
The flight will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The flight will depart Accra at 07h00 and return from Tamale at 08h30.
The airline has offered an introductory fare of GH¢ 100 ($48) one way, tax inclusive.
The morning flights will complement AWA’s existing flight schedule between the two cities – it currently offers daily return flights from Accra to Tamale.
Africa World Airlines is a partnership between SAS Finance Group, SSNIT, HNA Aviation Holding, the parent company of Hainan Airlines, the fourth largest airline in China, and the China-Africa Development Fund.
