“British Airways has suspended flights to and from Liberia and Sierra Leone until 31 December 2014, due to the concerns about the health situation in those two countries,” said the airline in a statement.

Previously BA had announced the suspension of the flights until September of this year. Passengers effected can receive a refund, change the tickets for a later date, or exchange them for flights to Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. In addition to British Airways, several other international carriers have cancelled flights to the countries where cases of Ebola have been reported. Among them are Ivorian Air, Emirates, and ASKY.
