A weak currency and a slowing economy may have impacted a lot of people’s year-end holiday plans, so British Airways (operated by Comair) has cut pre-festive season fares from South Africa to Mauritius.
Return fares from Johannesburg start from $425 (R5,598), including all taxes and surcharges. The offer is available immediately for outbound travel between now and 28 November, with the return flight before 5 December.
“After a tough year, this could be a once-off opportunity for a quick island break before the year-end rush,” says Shaun Pozyn, Marketing Manager for British Airways.
