Following the recent debut of its flagship A380 aircraft on the Cairo route, Emirates will introduce a regular scheduled commercial A380 service to the Egyptian capital starting from 27 October, four times a week.

Emirates will replace the 777-300ER aircraft currently operating EK923 and EK924 on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The airline will also increase the frequency of flights between Dubai and Cairo, adding four additional flights a week to its existing three daily services, starting 28 October.

The four new flights, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, will take the total number of weekly Emirates flights serving Cairo to 25.

The Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft serving the Dubai-Cairo route will offer a total of 489 seats in a three-class configuration – 399 in economy, 76 fully flat-bed seats in business and 14 first class private suites.

Premium customers, and Platinum and Gold Skywards members, can enjoy the dedicated Emirates Lounge in Cairo airport which opened in 2018.
