Cape Grace undergoes refurb

951

The Cape Grace Hotel & Spa, which overlooks Cape Town’s yacht basin and Table Mountain, is upgrading its pool and conservatory area.

The pool area has been designed to resemble a luxurious yacht deck, complete with sunken lounge, rim-flow pool and fashionable bar. Changing and shower facilities, a children’s pool and disabled access will also be part of the enhanced offering.

The new conservatory will provide an events venue in an exclusive and private area.

Construction commenced on 23 June and is expected to be completed by 30 September. Work will be limited to 11h00 and 17h00 daily, in order to ensure minimum disruption to hotel guests.

Whilst the hotel’s breakfast service will remain undisturbed, food and beverage outlets will be affected during construction hours, with Signal Restaurant, Bascule and possibly the Library Terrace being closed for lunch. All the hotel kitchens will remain fully functional during the construction period, and in-room private dining will be available.
