According to eTNW, visa applications for South Africans travelling to Romania must now be made online.
Applicants will need to register an account at evisa.mae.ro to confirm compliance with the Romanian visa application regime.
Once the application has been submitted online, the applicant will receive an appointment to visit the consular division at the embassy with their original documents, two photos, visa fee and visa form.
These general requirements apply to all types of visas.
