According to eTurboNews, China Southern began its Nairobi-Guangzhou service yesterday (4 August), with three weekly flights under a codeshare agreement with Kenya Airways. (See story here)
The airline joins KQ on the route which currently sees daily flights from Nairobi (Kenya) to Guangzhou (China), with four of the seven services routing via Bangkok.
China Southern will fly non-stop into Nairobi every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, operating an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
All passenger handling will take place at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport’s new Terminal 1A building, while premium passengers will have access to KQ’s Pride and Simba lounges.
