OR Tambo International
OR Tambo International Airport (formerly Johannesburg International) is the busiest airport on the continent, and the air transport hub of southern Africa. The airport caters for over 13 million passengers each year, and employs some 18 000 people to keep its modern infrastructure and comprehensive services running smoothly for local and international travellers.

Facilities: The Premier Conference Centre in the domestic terminal offers a modern and stylish environment for business meetings, conferences and seminars. It has three 10-seater rooms, a 12-seater room, a 14-seater room, a seminar facility for groups of 25 or 50, as well as a conference room for groups of 60 or 120. For business travellers there’s both wired and wireless Internet connectivity. You can get behind a PC or plug in your own laptop at the Airport Online office, while a wireless option allows laptop users to get online from anywhere in the retail section – so you can enjoy a meal or cup of coffee while finishing that report or catching up on your e-mail.

Cape Town International
Cape Town International is South Africa’s second-largest airport, and a prime tourism gateway serving millions of visitors descending on the Mother City every year. Traffic through the airport reflects this – over 60 000 aircraft ferrying over 6.7-million passengers in 2005. By 2015, 14- million passengers are expected to pass through Cape Town International. The airport is world-class and was named Africa’s leading airport in the 2008 World Airport Awards, with OR Tambo International (Johannesburg) coming in second, and Durban International coming in third.

Facilities Conveniently located, the Airport Conference Centre is situated in the Southern Office Block alongside the Domestic Terminal (Terminal 5) at Cape Town International Airport. This facility has four rooms that can accommodate between 6 – 80 delegates. These rooms vary from executive boardrooms to spacious conference/ training facilities.

Upington International
The airport has three runways, the primary one measuring 4,900 metres (the longest civilian runway in the southern hemisphere, and one of the few able to land a space shuttle). Both South African Airways and the South African Air Force use the airport to train pilots in the handling of large aircraft such as 747s, 707s and the South African presidential jet. The airport also does a brisk business in cargo, sending anything from livestock to cars and mining equipment to Europe, the Middle East and the rest of Africa, not to mention grapes, about one million tons of which are flown from Upington every year.

Facilities The Airport Conference Room is available for small groups of up to 12 people. Facilities include an overhead projector, a video machine, a TV , a whiteboard and a flip-chart.

Bloemfontein International
Bloemfontein Airport, the third-largest of ACSA’s national airports, is an important gateway to the Free State, a land-locked province. The airport is a mere eight kilometres from the city centre. The airport handles about 25,000 airtraffic movements a year, which brings about 400,000 passengers – the majority of whom are business travelers – through its doors. But the airport does not just wave tens of thousands of people off on their journeys every year – it does a brisk business in cargo too.

Facilities: The ACSA conference room, which seats 20 people, is available at a rate of R200 an hour. This facility is only available between 08:00 and 16:00, Mondays to Fridays.

George International
The town of George lies halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on South Africa’s ever-popular Garden Route. With more and more visitors travelling to
the region’s mountains, beaches and forests, George airport now handles over 600,000 passengers each year. The increasing popularity of the area as a tourist destination is expected to boost traffic even further.
