According to Hospitality Net, Deutsche Hospitality has extended its portfolio by taking over two more Egyptian hotels – the Taba Hotel & Nelson Village in Taba and the Cairo Pyramids Hotel in Gizeh.
The Cairo Pyramids Hotel offers 304 rooms, six restaurants, two bars, a conference and wedding room, a gym, two swimming pools and a range of shopping facilities.
The Taba Hotel & Nelson Village lies on the northern end of the Sinai Peninsula directly on the border with Israel, allowing guests to view three countries simultaneously – Jordan, Israel and Saudi Arabia. The hotel offers 401 rooms, a ballroom, a conference room, four restaurants, three bars and cafés, two swimming pools, three tennis courts, a massage centre, a shopping centre and a casino.
Both hotels will undergo extensive renovation works until the end of the year and will then be operated under the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts brand.
