According to Breaking News Travel, Egypt’s national carrier EgyptAir has reinstated its service from London Heathrow to Luxor International with a weekly flight.
The Monday flight to Luxor will allow passengers to meet connecting flights for onward travel into southern Egypt.
The reinstatement comes on the back of a significant increase in demand by tourists and Egyptian nationals wanting alternative destination airports, with Luxor highlighted as a key entry point for Egypt.
