Ethiopian Airlines will take delivery of the first of four Boeing 777-300ERs on 7 November. The B777-300ER is the largest aircraft in the airline’s fleet with the seating capacity of 400 passengers.
Ethiopian’s B777-300ERs will operate on popular routes such as Guangzhou (China), Washington DC (USA), Dubai and Luanda (Angola). The first aircraft is scheduled to serve the Addis Ababa-Luanda route three times a week, as of 10 November, and the Addis Ababa-Guangzhou route also three times a week, as of 15 November.
The airline will phase in three additional B777-300ERs in January 2014, May and June 2015.
