According to Breaking Travel News, fastjet has increased the number of flights on its growing international and domestic network from Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport (Tanzania), in response to strong passenger demand.
The low-cost carrier now offers daily flights on its international routes from Dar es Salaam to Johannesburg (South Africa), Harare (Zimbabwe) and Lusaka (Zambia).
It has also doubled its flight frequency on the newly–launched Dar es Salaam–Lilongwe (Malawi) route from two to four flights per week. Flights to Entebbe (Uganda) from Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro remain at three per week.
Domestically, the airline will now offer up to five daily flights from Dar es Salaam to Mwanza, up to four daily flights linking Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro, two daily flights from Dar es Salaam to Mbeya, and daily flights between Kilimanjaro and Mwanza.
