Fastjet was investigating flights between Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Entebbe (Uganda) – see story here.
Now the low-cost carrier has announced that it will commence flights on this route from 16 September, starting initially with two flights a week – on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Two weeks after the inaugural flight to Entebbe, departures will be doubled on 29 September and the days of operation will change to Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Fastjet will use an A319 in an all-Economy configuration for the service.
The airline’s other international routes presently are Johannesburg (South Africa), Harare (Zimbabwe), and Lusaka (Zambia).
