Flyafrica to fly to Lusaka

Accordding to eTNW, Namibia flyafrica, a member of the family, will launch flights between Johannesburg (South Africa) and Lusaka (Zambia), using Fifth Freedom traffic rights between South Africa and Namibia, early next year.

Fifth Freedom rights allows airlines to carry passengers from its base country (i.e. Namibia) to a second country (i.e. South Africa), and from that country to a third (i.e. Zambia), where tickets can be sold on any sector.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe flyafrica plans to launch flights between Bulawayo and Johannesburg from 2 March. The airline also plans to launch domestic flights between Victoria Falls and Harare, with flights commencing on 1 December.

Namibia also announced the launch of Windhoek to Cape Town flights from 16 March 2015, with fares starting from $80.
