“As part of our commitment to keeping ticket prices as low as possible, and to making flying accessible for the general population, our strategy includes offering affordable fares on routes that were previously dominated by high prices,” says Dave Andrew, CEO of FlySafair.
Following best practice principles of other international low-cost airlines, FlySafair will charge passengers a base rate which secures them a seat on the flight and allows for two pieces of free carry-on luggage weighing no more than seven kilograms in total.
Extras such as catering, check-in luggage, pre-booked preferential seats or extra-space seats such as those in the front rows or at emergency exits, will be charged for according to passengers’ specific needs.
