South Africa’s newest low-cost airline, FlySafair, has launched ticket sales between Johannesburg and Cape Town, with its maiden flight scheduled for 17 October.

Tickets can be booked online at www.flysafair.co.za. Passengers can also self-manage changes to their reservations and check in online.

“With FlySafair’s dedication to competitive and sustainable fares between Johannesburg and Cape Town, we look forward to our passengers putting our promise of affordability and exceptional service to the test,” said Dave Andrew, CEO of FlySafair.

Safair was granted approval by South Africa’s Air Service Licensing Council to launch its own low cost domestic scheduled operation late last month. (See the story here)
