KQ leases two B737-800NGs

According to eTurboNews, Kenya Airways will take delivery of two leased B737-800NG aircraft in early 2015 from GECAS.

These deliveries, expected before the end of the airline’s financial year at the end of March 2015, will join eight B787-8 Dreamliners, which are due for delivery directly from Boeing between now and March 2015, as well as two more B777-300ERs, also purchased directly from Boeing.

The current six B767-300 aircraft will leave the fleet progressively as the new B787s arrive in Nairobi.
