KQ reduces Tanzanian flights

1010

Kenya Airways has reduced the frequency of its flights to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) from 42 to 14 per week and began flying twice daily to the Tanzanian capital from 19 March.

These changes are a result of a communication from the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, reducing flight frequencies of Kenyan carriers into Tanzania.

KQ operates flights to Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.

Noting that Bilateral Air Services Agreements (BASA) are negotiated between governments, KQ is aware that the relevant Kenyan government agencies have reached out to their Tanzanian counterparts in a bid to resolve the issue.
