According to eTNW, the Southern Sun Maputo Hotel in Mozambique has recently added new conference facilities to its offering, and is now able to accommodate both large and small conferences and events in a range of venues.
Following the completion of its $30 million refurbishment (see story here), the hotel now offers 269 guest rooms, an expanded restaurant and lobby, as well new conference facilities.
The largest conference venue, the Mphama, offers 216m2 of space, allowing for 150 people cinema-style. Mphama 1 and 2 can be used for smaller conferences and can be subdivided for up to 70 and 80 people each.
The Acacia and Mikaya rooms can seat 18 people each and can be used for small meetings. A fully-equipped business centre in the hotel offers guests convenient office work space and facilities, should they be needed.
