Marriott International has opened Africa’s first Marriott Executive Apartments in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
Located in the heart of Ethiopia’s capital, the Marriott Executive Apartments Addis Ababa has 108 fully-serviced apartments and is located just off Meskel Square in Bole, adjacent to the UN-ECA headquarters and conference centre. It is a 10-minute drive away from Bole International Airport, the African Union headquarters and the Ethiopian National Museum.
The Marriott Executive Apartments Addis Ababa provides a choice of one and two-bedroom furnished serviced apartments and a penthouse presidential suite, each with a fully-equipped kitchen, free wi-fi, satellite TV, and services such as housekeeping, grocery shopping and room service. For business travellers, the property provides multi-function meeting rooms and over 160 square metres of event space.
Marriott will also develop an Ethiopian property under the Marriott Hotels brand, and that property is expected to open by 2019.
