Newmark Hotels, Residences, Reserves & Lodges opened the Stock Exchange hotel in Woodstock, Cape Town on 1 March.

Stock Exchange is located in the WEX1 development – a mixed-use building that additionally comprises residential units, restaurants, a swimming pool, a gym, an entertainment deck and retail outlets.

The greater building, located on Albert Road opposite the Woodstock Exchange and in close proximity to the Old Biscuit Mill, comprises 33 apartment-style rooms split into three distinct themes: Urban Jungle, Urban Art and Urban Pattern.

The property is ideally located close to a MyCiTi bus stop, bicycle lanes and a train station, allowing for easy access to Woodstock’s points of interest and Cape Town’s tourist attractions.

Newmark also operates nearby properties such as the Victoria & Alfred Hotel, the Queen Victoria Hotel and The Onyx, which opened in December.

Newmark will also take over management of Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve in the Great Karoo on 1 May.

It has five accommodation options, from manor houses to luxury safari tents, on a 14,000-hectare reserve.
