According to eTurboNews, RwandAir has confirmed that the delivery of yet another brand new Bombardier aircraft, a Q400NextGen, is due by the end of February 2014.

The new next generation turboprop aeroplane will be offering passengers 67 seats in a two-class option, Business Class and Economy Class. The new Q400 will replace the wet-leased Bombardier Dash 8-100.

RwandAir CEO John Mirenge said the airline’s goal is to grow its fleet to 17 aircraft by the year 2020.

The airline plans to begin flights to Douala, Cameroon, most likely in March 2014, adding the 16th destination to RwandAir’s growing reach across the continent, before adding Abidjan in Cote d’Ivoire later next year.
