Proflight Zambia has launched its new international route from Lusaka to Harare.
The introduction of the new flight makes the Zambian airline the only operator servicing the route with early morning flights four times a week.
Proflight also flies from Lusaka to Durban in South Africa and Lilongwe in Malawi, in addition to linking all the main provincial centres within Zambia.
Travellers from Harare will be able to easily connect with Proflight domestic flights to Ndola, Solwezi and Mfuwe, and internationally to Lilongwe.
Lusaka is about 395 kilometres flying distance from Harare and the journey takes only 70 minutes by air, compared with a journey by road of more than seven hours.
The airline will fly four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with flight P0031 leaving Harare at 08h25 and arriving in Lusaka at 09h35.
P0030 leaves Lusaka at 06h45 and arrives in Harare at 07h55.
