Crystal Cruises has unveiled a three-night inclusive extended land programme to Berlin on two Crystal Symphony voyages exploring the Baltic region and North Sea in 2016.
Offered pre and post-cruise with the 22 June sailing from Stockholm to Berlin and the 2 July cruise from Hamburg to Amsterdam, the programme takes guests to some of history’s most significant sites, while showcasing the city’s modern role as a metropolitan hub of culture, culinary delights and innovation.
Glimpses of the country’s chapter of National Socialism and ‘Hitler’s Berlin’ will take travellers back decades to some of the darker, but pivotal, points in history, while performances by local swing dancers and independent exploration through the city streets will highlight the vibrant attitude of today’s Berlin.
Guests will be accommodated at the Regent Berlin, and dine at some of the city’s most celebrated spots.
