The precinct underwent a $51-million development over the last 18 months.
Silverstar now serves up six new restaurants; a large ‘Magic Company’ with the latest arcade games, a 12-lane bowling alley, and a 450m² hi-tech laser-tag games facility; a cinema complex boasting the latest 3D technology; a 2,200-seater dome called The Globe, which will host expos and shows; a ‘Boktown’ venue where over a 1,000 spectators can watch sports matches on a 62m² state-of-the-art high definition screen; and a Parker’s Comedy & Jive stand-up comedy venue.
Those visitors who prefer al fresco dining are encouraged to explore the outside square, where they’ll find a host of new restaurants such as a unique brew pub called Publicity, with a beer garden offering craft beer; Calisto’s featuring Portuguese-style seafood; Col’Cacchio Pizzeria offering 50 different combinations of thin-based gourmet pizzas; Kai Thai presenting a taste of Thailand; and Vigour & Verve, a funky afro-urban coffee shop.
Dining options inside the complex include Spur; Billy G, a family buffet restaurant; Steak, which specialises in mouth-watering meat dishes; and Black Cherry, a coffee shop.
In addition, fast food outlets such as Raj, Steers, Mi-Vami and Noodle Bar also form part of the indoor dining mix. These restaurants are located opposite the entertainment zone and have one centralised seating area.
The Silverstar precinct also consists of an upgraded casino; Southern Sun Silverstar, a boutique hotel; and Soulstice Day Spa, an award-winning spa.
