Turkish Airlines is now flying three times a week from Istanbul to Moroni, the capital of the Comoros Union.
Moroni becomes the 304th destination served by Turkish Airlines.
The Comoros, a tropical Indian Ocean island archipelago at the northern end of the Mozambique Channel, has a population of 700,000.
With the addition of Moroni to its network, Turkish Airlines now reaches 122 countries worldwide, with 53 destinations in Africa alone.
From 18 June flight TK 748 will depart Istanbul at 01h40 and arrive in the Comoros at 13h30. Flying TK 748 will depart the Comoros at 16h40 and arrive in Istanbul at 04h10 the next day.
Both flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
