The extensive refurbishment of the Zambezi Sun Hotel in Livingstone (Zambia) kicked off in June, with the entire project scheduled for completion by August 2015.
The upgrade of the first block, comprising 54 rooms, the pool, and bar area is now complete. All upgrades are intended to enhance the hotel’s Moroccan look and feel.
The in-room enhancements include Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and new air-conditioning units, as well as new soft furnishings.
Zambezi Sun’s conference facilities have also been upgraded, with new carpeting, drapery, lampshades and wall finishes. Investment has been made in new technologies enabling guests to work more efficiently.
The kids club, which will be relaunched as Zuba’s Adventure Camp offering a daily interactive programme for younger guests, is also undergoing a transformation.
