According to eTNW, airports in Dubai have launched a new mobile app in Arabic and English that provides passengers with the information they need to navigate through Dubai International and Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central.
The Dubai Airports App features a ‘Find Your Flight’ function that lets users enter their flight number and receive customised flight details. Passengers can also choose to receive updates on their particular flights, including gate changes or boarding times.
Other features include ‘Flight Radar 24’, a flight tracking service, and three-dimensional airport maps that can be used to pinpoint all services at both airports.
The ‘Before you fly’ section shares travel information that passengers will need prior to travelling to or via Dubai. From visa information to baggage regulations, passengers can use the app to plan all aspects of their trip. The ‘While you are here’ function gives travellers details of where to shop and dine, as well as offering additional airport features such as the Zen Gardens, Dubai International Hotel’s swimming pool and Snoozecubes.
